Having satisfied her wanderlust by educating herself on world cuisines, she accepted the position of Executive Chef to entertainer Bob Hope. Over the next seven years, she watched and learned what is necessary in operating a formally run estate. Presidents, dignitaries and celebrity icons paid visits to the Hopes and maintaining the utmost in stellar, discreet service was at the heart of the job.

Communication was fantastic, even when I was not able to clearly verbalize my vision Jon was almost "reading my mind". He demonstrated excellent recognition of my business needs and my personal preference. He provided professional guidance yet did not hesitate to implement any specific input that I have requested.
